Designed by Helen Kwok & Chad Toprak.

Made for the 2022 Global Game Jam, to the theme duality.

An outdoors cardgame for 1–4 players, best played in a park, garden, plaza, street, or laneway. Explore the environment to find objects that best match the playful opposite prompts of each card. Print and play with the physical card deck, or access the online digital version on your phone. Remember - there is no right or wrong! Just enjoy the process, and the joy of noticing your everyday environment.

Rules:

  1. Set your playspace boundaries.
  2. Shuffle and draw three cards from the deck.
  3. Flip a coin to decide which prompts to play.
  4. Set a timer for 10 minutes. Start exploring and take photos of your three prompts.
  5. Regroup, discuss, and reflect on your findings.

We acknowledge the Wurundjeri and Boon Wurrung people of the Kulin Nation, on whose unceded lands we work and play. We pay our respects to their Elders past and present, and extend our respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in the wider community and beyond.

this game is great, I'd love to see a printing of it!

I'm interested in translate this game to spanish, just to ensure this is playable in the spanish-speaking world. If I get your permission I'll send a PDF for you to distribute (if you want), in any way you like.
